The TomTom Start 40 is an entry-level sat nav with a 4.3-inch screen. Like its siblings, the Start 50 and Start 60, it's aimed at more casual drivers who don't need traffic or voice controls, but just want a stress-free way to navigate from A to B....

Picks up where I've left off if I'm in and out of the car on a journey

Not enough space to store more than 7 or 8 previous addresses and I discovered by chance if I delete some I'm not currently using the older addresses are still in there I'm not certain that was in the instructions/guide clearly
