TomTom GO 750 / 950 LIVE Sat-Nav

If you're looking for a premium sat-nav to smooth the way to your destination, check out the TomTom GO 950 LIVE.

As we predicted at the beginning of this review, the GO x50 LIVE series isn't going to change the world of sat-navs in the same way as its predecessor. So if you've already invested in a GO x40 LIVE, the new features shouldn't have you green with envy....

TomTom Go 750 Live review

Features we've admired before are still present in the TomTom Go 750 Live, including IQ Routes, MapShare, Advanced Lane Guidance and a Help me menu. Together, these offer the fastest route at any time of day, the most accurate maps and the peace of...

The minimal revisions made to TomTom's x50 line-up reflect the fact that this satnav ticks boxes across the board. But we resent paying more for the very features that form the 'Live' part of the TomTom Go 750 Live's moniker.

TomTom Go 750 Live

We review the feature packed TomTom Go 750 Live, one of the most versatile GPS devices this side of the Pentagon.

HD traffic updates, Google searching, weather updates, IQ Routes, the device features a large list of impressive and useful features.

The bulky size may not be what some users are looking for while yearly subscription fees may put a damper on things.

TomTom GO 750 GPS unit

TomTom's GO 750 GPS unit adds voice control to its list of features.

Responsive touch screen, strong dock, voice control, excellent interface and map screen, advanced lane guidance, loud speaker, safety alerts

No Australian text-to-speech voice for street names, no traffic capabilities, voice control is hit and miss

The TomTom GO 750 adds voice control to its collection of features. Although it's far from perfect, this is yet another excellent TomTom GPS. The lack of traffic capabilities is a little disappointing at this price, but users will appreciate TomTom's...

TomTom's Go 750 Live still among the best GPS devices you can buy

An excellent standalone satnav, even if TomTom is treading water with this release

TomTom Go 750

TomTom's Go 750 is one of two, self-proclaimed flagship models in the company's line up. It costs $599 and sits with the all-singing, all-dancing Go 950 ($849) at the top of the food chain, bringing with it new styling, a fancy new mounting bracket and...

The Go 750 builds upon the solid feature set of it's forebears with maps covering the length and breadth of the country and GPS guidance to accurately guide you to your selected destination. A massive set of points of interest is included to make it...

TomTom GO 750 LIVE Satellite Navigation System

Excellent live updates, avoiding jams, roadworks tec. Anticipated time of arrival also a good feature as well as alternating your route to avoid delays.

Can be a bit fiddley with new addresses. Never used the voice activation.

TomTom GO 750 LIVE Satellite Navigation System

Easy to use, clear screen, reroutes itself fairly quickly

Some of the instructions are confusing or given a little late. Used it in France recently and computerised pronunciation of street and place names unclear. Although I updated on the Tom Tom website before I left, the routes were not up to date in some...
