you get what you pay for

it's nice to have in your car so you can find your way home if you get lost, but for trip planning, you might want to stick with google or yahoo maps or something to get your route. that saving grace is it's video and audio playback. slow processor is...

price is pretty good for a 4.3" display ; plays divx, mpg, + other format movies (but with slow processor and sd card size, you will probably need to re-encode existing files to smaller resolution and file size and even so the playback can be a little...

very small internal memory, uses sd card for map. supplied map pretty much fills the entire 1gb sd card, and appears to be missing locations that can be found on other gps systems (e.g. magellan 4040) ; mp3 files need to be in a (non root) directory...

No Good.

It has a nice design, its a touch screen and the menus are extremely simple. It includes MP3 and video playback not to mention it has a puzzle game built into it. The elimination of roads based by spelling is a great form of elimination for those pesky...

I don't know if its just this specific one, but I'm not going to return it for another of its kind to run the risk that it isn't. After being turned on, it takes anywhere between ten to fifteen minutes before it acquires any signal. I turned it on...

Best in Class - Price Range!

So far updates at the web-site are free and there have been two updates since VXA-4300 was released. The other features (movies, music & photos) are nice but unnecessary, I purchased a GPS not a mobile entertainment device. A super value at least a...

Display adj. for light conditions. Sound clear & understandable. Fast GPS location (within seconds). Map is accurate & tracking display size map is adjustable. Tracking is right on even in remote locations. I like the continous update and position...

Would like more voice selections in sound settings, there is just one Male and one Female, is to limiting. Clean out of previous settings is not easy to find. POIs should be increased in the number of locations built in. The limitations of the 1GB SD...

Good GPS Software

I'm certain the english female voice sounded upset when I left the planned route to drop by the bank.

US map and software fit on a 1GB SD card. It chooses reasonable routes between points. The voice instructions are clear and helpful. I like that it tells you when no turn is needed for the next several miles. Via points can be added to your routes

A little less sensitive receiver than those with flip-out antennas. I seldom get a position lock inside the house but it works fine on the car's dashboard. Slow processor (266 MHz) makes some full-screen videos jerky

VXA-4300 is good

Nice value for the money. I would buy 2. One for me and one for my wife.

Nice 4.3 inch screen with many features above and beyond GPS. Nice design with good mapping. Good value for the money

Needs access for free upgrades for games

Bang for the buck. Map and performace is good. Nice video and mp3 feature. Small and light, very portable

would of been better if some text had bigger font. Mounting mechanism bit shaky
