No Vista x64 Support

I didnt have any issues with the connectors being flimsy at all, like other reviewers have mentioned. Also, the device has an embedded BLUE LED inside of it, for people such as myself who like to have all their colored lights match.

It is easily recognized by Microsoft Streets and Trips 2008, just as expected. First tried using it on my laptop indoors, but no signal. Walked outside the door, and it connected instantly. The device is accurate enough to pick up my basic movements of...

The GPS device itself as a Serial based device and comes with a Series to USB converter. The Serial-USB adpater has absolutely NO driver support under Windows Vista x64. Tried countless drives for several similar products, but still no-go. Using...

Just what I needed

FAST!!!! SHIPPING From Newegg!! I needed the item the next day so I paid for next day shipping. Newegg shipped it the same day as I ordered and it was here UPS before 10am.

Small Receiver. Easy to set up on XP with Microsoft Streets & Trips

USB Cable not really long enough to run through dash and hide

Small, Fast, Amazing

very fast sat acquisition. takes only a few seconds to power-up and show location. design allows for many uses with optional accessories. sd-card or CF adapter for PDA, bluetooth, even rs232 for older laptops.

suction cup is on cable rather than on the unit itself, so the unit flops around while driving.

Pharos PB010 USB iGPS-500 GPS Receiver - Retail

This thing is litterally the size of a quarter, and can probably easily get lost if you disconnect it from the USB cable. Unlink others, i have not had any problems with the connections being loose, I just put it on my rear window dashboard area and...

The device does exactly what you can expect it to do. I have it working with MS Streets and Maps 2007, And its perfect.

The cord that came with it was a little short, so you may need to buy an extension if you plan to permantly place it somewhere on your car, instead of just throwing it up on the dashboard.

Fragile Connection

Go with the Bluetooth version and avoid the weak connector.

Compact and low cost

Flimsy plastic USB connector (x12-42936) wiggles too much and stressed the connections. The device cuts out at the slightest movement and makes it quite annoying to use. I will have to re-solder the connections inside the connector to correct it or...

PHAROS PB010 USB GPS Receiver

Used in both Microsoft Streets and Trips and Roadnav... worked like a charm.

Locks on to satellites fast (<1 min), provides good accuracy. I always show as being directly on streets in Microsoft Streets and Trips. Works great

Bluetooth would be nice

PHAROS PB010 USB GPS Receiver

Some one mentioned 'off route', that is a software issue not this receiver

Just so people know, this is the same manufacture of the MS S & T GPS receiver

Never get lost again

now that i know how well it works i would have even paid $100 for it............

It took about 5 minuets to set this up to run with MS street and trip ( i am using 2006). it has more features than i Knew, like Altitude( beside Latitude and longitude) gives you the speed that you are traveling( it matched the digital...

the only thing that i wish it had is to reconfigure the route if you miss an exit, it just says "off route" beside that its flawless
