Garmin nuvi 350

The nüvi 350 is a small, thin and multi-talented GPS unit. Does Garmin's new gadget show its competitors the way?

The nüvi 350 is pretty thin and measures just 98.3 x 73.9 x 22.1mm and weighs 144g. The GPS antenna folds out of the rear, which negatively affects the neat look. The 320 x 240 display is touch sensitive and 2.8in in size. The sides house just a power...

Review: Garmin nüvi 350

There's a hell of a lot of features packed into this compact unit, but they'll cost you.

As you would expect from a GPS manufacturing veteran, the basic satellite navigation tool is excellent.

The nüvi's biggest technological flaw links back to its in-car GPS roots.

Garmin Nuvi 350 review

Garmin Nuvi 350

The compact Garmin Nüvi 350 has a strong GPS receiver and includes lots of travel-friendly features.

The Garmin Nüvi 350 is expensive, and the traffic receiver and the travel-guide programs cost extra. The Nüvi also lacks an external volume control.

No bigger than a deck of cards, the Garmin Nüvi 350 is more than just another voice-guided GPS device, packing in travel tools, entertainment features, and good performance; just be prepared to pay a price.

Garmin nuvi 350

Whether you're in the market for a portable GPS device or are just looking for that perfect electronic travel companion for your next trip to Europe, the nüvi 350 from Garmin may well have you prying the plastic out of your wallet.

Small, lightweight, and easy to use. Preloaded with map and Points of Interest data. Great GPS receiver sensitivity. Fast satellite-acquisition time. Good battery life

Optional Language ($74.99) and Travel ($75 per region) guides make the total package fairly pricey. No playlist support for MP3 player

Excellent GPS sensitivity and function coupled with new Travel Kit features make the nüvi 350 an excellent electronic travel companion.

Garmin nuvi 350 Review

The nuvi 350 didn't start out as a budget friendly GPS; when Garmin first introduced the nuvi 350 it retailed for almost $1,000. Just 12 months later, the same sleek, compact, high-performance GPS is selling for as little as $369 (and dropping every...
