Novogo S700 GPS device

There's no AC charger and you need to shell out for TMC traffic updates, but overall this compact, dashboard-based GPS system is top of the class.

Pangoo 32inch FullHD TV : Pangoo S700 32inch Full HD TV

Apparently these units have been available in Australia and China for two years, now they are available in the UK. Full HD 32inch TV's are still quite rare with most only starting at 37inch and ‘HD Ready' still being the norm at 32inch.

As soon as I can find someone in the UK selling them I will add a comment so no value smiles at this point

Novogo S700

Plenty of GPS devices these days provide extra functionality on top of simple navigation. Much like the trend for turning simple mobile phones into all singing, all dancing media nodes, recent GPS units now play MP3s and display photos

Some thoughtful features, Accomplished GPS functionality

Map portion of the screen too small, Largely superfluous sidebar, Pricey for a one-trick pony

A reminder of the virtues of a dedicated device, but it's a little expensive given that fact

Novogo S700

This generic GPS made by an exotic importer gets the job done.

Large POI database. Sensitive GPS receiver; auto zoom/auto volume. Comes with U.S. and Canadian maps. Multisegment routes supported.

Lacks text-to-speech conversion. Bluetooth phone interface not functioning in my review unit. Limited distribution.

Novogo S700 BT Review

Taiwanese based Novogo is better known in Europe than here in the United States, but that will no doubt change, as the company tries to penetrate the lucrative US GPS market. This week I tested the S700 BT, Novogo's top-of-the-line navigation system. I...
