Navman iCN530 GPS receiver - EXCLUSIVE

Navman's latest satellite navigation system promises a bigger screen and simple instructions, so does it live up to the promise? We hit the road to find out. The first thing you are likely to spot on the new iCN530 is the introduction of a large 3.5...

Big screen, easy to use, optional traffic bolt on

Cradle is easy to take off, but large. Traffic bolt on is extra

The iCN530 is a good solid GPS unit that gives a good performance overall. Directions are clear and the maps simple to understand, especially as you can choose your display. Those looking to expand the system can opt for the optional extra TMC traffic...

Navman iCN 530

The Navman iCN 530 is the model beneath the [[prodid:2322]] and combines most of the same features in a smaller package. Although the iCN 530 has been...

Display, User interface, Next Turn map option, Included remote control

Volume could be a little louder at highest level, Sunlight glare can be a problem

A solid option that is fairly well priced considering the features offered. The iCN530 is a good choice, but keep in mind that some of the newer Navman models offer refreshing interface changes and newer map views.

This device is incredible

For the money, pound for pound, this is it...

This device is incredible. Had a chance to use it over 400 miles with multiple legs, destinations, and we frequently went off the path to eat, etc. It did not bat an eyelash to put us back on track WITHOUT asking. I am so impressed by the numerous...

Only con was it was not imemdiately clear that when entering an address you should start with city and state, then street, then address. I was putting address and street in at same time and coming up blank. Once I learned, it was flawless

Good

Overall we have found this Navman to be very helpful indeed. We moved interstate a year ago and although we know a lot more than the Navman does in our own suburbs close to home it has certainly pulled us out of a pickle on many occasions...especially...

Widescreen! Clear Voice!

Price! Can be a little fiddy putting address details in when using your finger, really needs a stylus attached or you are better off using a pen

Good

Overall, I recomend this navigator but there are newer ones so they could possibly be a better option. But otherwise it's a good navigator and I've never had any problems with it and Iv'e had it for about two years.

It's reliable and takes you where you need to go.

It could be better and easier if they told you the street name you had to turn into but I think they're on some of the newer ones so I think I'll have to update mine. Also when the sun shines on the screen it's hard to see it.

OK

Nice Hardware, works great but needs updated maps. A lot has changed since 2006. Maps can only be obtained from NAVMAN UK store.

Nice compact design, easy to use, and seem to work as designed.

The problem I have with this unit is that the maps are getting outdated and NAVMAN doesn't have an online store in the US. Yes you could buy the hardware but goodluck looking for updated maps (well at leaset for my iCN 530). Maps are only available in...
