Mio Moov 310 GPS

Despite its simplicity, this Moov is a great buy as an entry-level GPS device.

Generally accurate navigation ; Inexpensive

Occasional minor glitches ; Basic, no-frills unit

The Mio Moov 310 lacks premium features such as Bluetooth connectivity, FM transmission to your car stereo, Wi-Fi connectivity, or the ability to change the GPS voice into something more entertaining (that of Darth Vader, say). However, if all you need...

Mio Moov 310

Design Despite the Navman acquisition, the hardware of the Mio Moov 310 is decidedly Mio. It's got a sleek black casing and a slim rectangular shape that's similar to the Mio C520's, measuring 5.1 inches wide by 3 inches high by 0.7 inch deep and 6.4...

The Mio Moov 310 portable navigation system offers text-to-speech directions and includes a complimentary one-year subscription to real-time traffic updates.

The Moov 310 has sluggish performance, including slow route calculations. The user documentation is also poor.

The Mio Moov 310 in-car GPS doesn't move very fast with all its performance issues, which is a shame since it otherwise offers a nice set of navigation features for a wallet-friendly price.

Mio Moov 310 review

I've been testing the Mio Moov 310 recently, one of the first four models in the new Moov series just introduced by Mio. This product line has a completely new interface, created thanks to Mio's purchase of Navman. As a result, I will go into the...

Good product but can be a little pokey

As an inexpensive GPS unit this had all the features I needed,

Great product there are some nice features, search nearby, a gas button, and the free year of traffic alerts that comes with it is a nice feature if you live in a reasonably large urban area although it seems to only know about backups on interstates.

The map updating software is not what I would have hoped, and I would really love the ability to save a search. I did a cross country trip, and found myself searching nearby for starbucks a lot. It would have been nice to make my own search shortcuts...

Great Product

Great product and you cannot beat the price. Each day I am impressed with this product.

Great screen size, clear picture, clear text to speach, and easy to learn. The processor seems very fast and the unit actually zooms the screen for you when you approach a merge for highways or other roadways.

Sometimes it takes a while for the GPS to link up however it is usually less than one minute.

Great Unit

overall a good unit with good interface. the voice instructions are good, but only has one voice and one volume level, at least that i have found. the trip computer is a nice feature which is good for tracking gpm, if you are into that.

this is my first gps unit, but have used this brand before for work. the rerouting is very fast for mio's. lots of poi's and easier to navigate than previous units.

takes 1-2 min to find the satallite signal on startup. the favorites can't be organized into folders like some previous units could which makes it hard to separate work from personal poi's. the different map selections aren't as useful as previous...

Good stuff

Works like a charm right out of the box. Turn it on a little tutorial plays, and it teaches you how to use it in minutes. I skipped it and it has a rather intuitive interface. You just gota learn it.
