Mio Digiwalker H610 review

It's satnav with benefits

Impressive satnav functionality

Transferring content a slow process ; Poor audio quality ; Limited storage capacity

A decent satnav device, but best left at that

Mio H610 GPS unit with audio and video

The Mio H610 is primarily a satnav unit, but it's the best implementation so far of a personal GPS unit with a built-in photo viewer, music and video player. We will be looking at these capabilities here, but if you need a navigation device please see...

It may be an expensive way to buy an MP3 player, but you will benefit from all the features of GPS too. This is the best implementation of multimedia we've seen in a navigation device, but that's not to say it's perfect.

Mio - DigiWalker H610

Over the last six months or so we've seen the traditional in-car GPS updated to include a range of extra features, including MP3 players, walking modes and travel guides. With devices shrinking in size and compatible ...

If you think you'll take advantage of enough of the H610's features, or perhaps are planning a tour of Europe, this could well be an invaluable aide. It's packed with features and despite some niggling issues it'll certainly get you where you want to...

Mio Digi Walker H610

I saw this unit at the Stuff Live show three months ago, it looked the ideal companion for those who walk around in unfamiliar areas. It can also work efficiently in a car.

It is easily small enough to fit in the hand and I used it regularly for over four hours and even longer with only switching to standby mode on a single charge. It is 8.5x6x2 cm and weights only slightly over 100grams. The base has an earbud socket and...

Mio DigiWalker H610 review: Mio DigiWalker H610

Mio H610

The Mio H610 features an ultraportable design that makes it a great navigation aid while on foot or on a bicycle. It comes preloaded with maps, travel tools, games, and a multimedia player.

The smaller screen doesn't make it ideal for in-car use, and the H610 doesn't support text-to-speech functionality.

Though not ideal for the car, the ultraportable Mio H610 is an accurate navigator and a decent multimedia player for use on foot.
