Mio DigiWalker C720t

Great 4.3in display, split-screen technology, text-to-speech, Bluetooth, excellent maps, design, safety features, TMC-ready, 2GB internal memory

Some confusing menus, geotagging poorly implemented and confusing

The C720t is very similar to the successful C520, so it remains a great unit with plenty of features. Unfortunately, the geotagging feature is poorly implemented, so we're not convinced this is worth the extra cost over its little brother, though the...

Mio DigiWalker C720T

Earlier this year, I reviewed the Mio C520, which, at the time was Mio's top-of-the line widescreen GPS. The C520 included a host of useful features such as an extensive POI database, multisegment routing, multimedia players, a Bluetooth phone...

Large, 4.3-inch screen. 20-channel SiRFstarIII receiver. Searchable database with 12 million POIs. Multisegment routing

Bluetooth phone feature implementation needs work. Camera is disappointing. Photo POI feature isn't yet activated

Mio's DigiWalker C720t includes a long list of premium features, including live traffic updates, a huge POI database, and even a 2-megapixel camerabut it's not without flaws.

Mio DigiWalker C720t

This top-of-the-line GPS device has plenty of features to please demanding users, but not all of them help to justify its price.

Large, 4.3-inch screen. 20-channel SiRFstarIII receiver. Searchable database with 12 million POIs. Multisegment routing.

Bluetooth phone feature implementation needs work. Camera is disappointing. Photo POI feature isn't yet activated.

Review: Mio DigiWalker C720t

Are there still traveling salesmen? Glengarry Glen Ross types who roam about Midwestern towns wearing flannel suits and felt fedoras while hawking vacuum cleaners, aluminum...

Photo geotagging great for users on a mission-house hunting, scenic route mapping. Business card scanner works as advertised, with only a few fields coming up with errors. Media player can match up lyrics files to your music, enabling scrolling lyrics...

The camera’s autofocus takes an absolute eternity, and the shots are susceptible to even the slightest vibration, which is particularly problematic when trying to scan business cards so the software can read them. Automatic settings tended to produce...

FIRST LOOK: Mio C720t

A geotagging GPS that tries to do everything, but overly complicates what should be a simple task of getting from A – Z in a couple of clicks.

Mio C720t review

I've spent the last few weeks trying out the Mio C720t, a new high-end GPS navigation device from Mio. Like the Mio C520, the C720t is equipped with a 4.3" touchscreen, text-to-speech, Bluetooth for hands free cell phone use, and the SiRFstar III...

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Powerful Little Device!

It's pretty impressive, overall. One device can get you to a party, take pictures at said party, then be hooked up to the stereo when the host runs out of good music. Price is a little steep, though.

Accurate maps ; Good routing ; Traffic Monitoring-enabled (3 mos. free, $60/yr for data) ; TONS of added features (camera, media player, bluetooth) ; Uses inexpensive SD/SDHC media for user-generated content ; Small form-factor & carrying pouch ;...

Only one English TTY voice, all others pre-recorded and generally vague ; Small control buttons (namely the map's Menu button) ; Limited Bluetooth support ; Steep learning curve for an average user ; 2.5mm headphone out = lame. Why not a normal 3.5mm jack

Just Awful

This GPS is sleek and has a wide screen making it easy to read. I like that it is stylish and not bulky

all it did was help me to get even more lost. Took me on the longest way to get to where I was going. I was really frustrated with this product so had to return it or throw it out the car window.
