Garmin Zumo 660 GPS Sat Nav

With a large 4.3 inch display the Zumo 660 is easy to use in any lighting conditions and the touch screen interface is simple to get to grips with. Garmin has even thought about the fact that most motorcyclists wear gloves whilst riding and as such the...

As with all Garmin sat navs, the Zumo 660 has street level mapping which can be expanded to suit your needs. 3D views of buildings and junctions to help with confusing road layouts are also included, as is a fuel gauge.

You can get where you need to get easier with a zumo

A while back I visited the world of satellite navigation, which meant that I no longer needed to carry a lot of maps around with me. I started off with a simple device which basically helped me get from A to Z without having to go through L and back....

easy to use, clear screen, clear voice, great 3D maps and simple to use

A bit on the expensive side in the satnav world

Clear screen. Built in speaker so it can be used off the motorcycle. plenty of features to baffle the user.

Expensive. Hadn't realised it was a refurbished unit but that was my fault for not understanding NOH internet slang. Not the most intuitive interface to use but does the job. Slow to load up if GPS signal is weak especially in mainland europe. Didn't...

Garmin Zumo 660

Shows speed limits on the screen. Has one long cable to go under the seat.

Having come from a Zumo 550, the 660 is not much more an improvement and in some cases, a retrograde step. The text on the screen is smaller, the phone connection does not work when you are on a bike and the features provided do not do a bike sat-nav...

Garmin Zumo 660

It came with every thing needed to mount it to most bikes (except mine) & the car, the price was comparrable with those on ebay, some of which did not have all the kit needed for a bike included & having been messed around on with a power seller on...

The add on cost of mounting it to a second bike is expensive, it cost me around £120, although that also included a center yoke mount.

Garmin Zumo 660

Easy to use. Invaluable for my motorbike trip to France. In fact it made the trip. Easy to program with wayponits etc.

Audio output level to helmet headset pathetic. Very low audio level. I designed and built an external audio amp using two two TDA 7267 audio ic's which I fitted into a small plastic box and attached to the wiring loom. This worked very well.

Just returned from a trip to the Pyrennes, satnav was faultless. Even at this price it is excellent value.

None to speak of.
