Burnout: Paradise

Paradise found? Stuart definitely seems to think so.

A blinding reboot for Burnout. Paradise adds a sense of freedom and depth to the series without losing the adrenaline rush that makes it tick. Beautiful, brilliant and self-assured.

Burnout Paradise

Hell, yes. Burnout is back and we take to the roads of Paradise City once more. It's time to rev our engines, push the pedal to the metal and cause some carnage on the highways in brand new game modes and a huge, sandbox environment.

Burnout Paradise

Think the rush of triple-A titles is over? Think again: Burnout Paradise is a bona fide winner and it just might be the best action racing game ever created!

The open-ended world offers up a lot of possibilities ; the crashes, a series hallmark, are just as impressive as they were in past instalments ; the sensation of speed is ridiculous, you better have nerves of steel if you want to survive this ride ;...

Just like in real life, navigating through the huge city can be intimidating ; the learning curve is far steeper this time around that you will spend some time getting acclimated to the game ; an instantaneous "restart" option would have definitely...

Burnout : Paradise Lost

How long will it take to learn the entire city on this game? Weeks, months, years. Some people need parameters and tracks. Only played this twice now - compared to Revenge where I have racked up over 600 hours of gameplay as it was so addictive. How...

Bitter Dissapoitment

If you loved past Burnout games then don't even bother to put this in your machine. All the aspects that made the past titles great have been lost on this. Crash mode has been replaced by some idotic notion of spontaniously exploding your car and then...

Total Burnout - Not in a good way

I was really looking forward to this game for ages and when I finally got it I was so disappointed that I sold it more or less straight away. There are no crash events in this game and the replacement events are absolute crap.Every time you crash there...

burnout games used to be great. too american, crappy music, but high speed adrenaline pumping fun all the way through, just one amazing race after another. all they had to do on next gen was keep the graphics to the lush standards we expect, add a few...

Speed Demon!

Quality. I am not a fan of driving games as sticking to a particular route etc and not being able to write your car off properly like in Gran Turismo, TOCA etc puts me off but the Burnout series are an exception. No holds barred, drive like a maniac...

Paradise is RIGHT

I was skeptical about the free form layout but apart from no map jumping (to get back to the start of a race or to a race on the otherside of the game world) this game is great. Fast, Fun and exciting. Point of note when you need to do the burning lap...
