Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
We use ours in a busy cafe and other than replacing the odd dropped jug it has been exemplary. My husband sharpened the blades just the other day and hey presto. She's good as new. Honestly. It was so good he got me the mini for home and I love it as...

I hate my Sunbeam Oskar Professional. It has made roti dough about 3 times and now does not work. Of course it was a few months out of warranty when this was discovered so I have no recourse. At first I thought it was just the s blade gone dull which I...
accessory drawer
heavy, not powerful enough, blades dull with none or hardly any use.

Just short of a year, the motor on our unit began to fail. As an electrician, it appears the windings were burning out and the machine gradually lost torque - which was very frustrating until we figured out what was happening. It had not had heavy, nor...
Very powerful, good blade reach, great accessories for fast & efficient chopping, large bowl size, under unit parts storage.
Expected a 'professional' quality machine, but didn't even last the distance for regular but infrequent use.

After around three years of abuse my unit is still going strong. I regularly make pastry, which is probably the toughest thing for a food processor. I don't quite understand the complaints about removing the blade, mine comes off easily, and you can...
Reliable, well made, great value
Wider mouth chute would be better
Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
I have owned one for three years now and am ready to replace the bowl for the third time due to cracking around the spindle base. Expensive as you have to purchase through a repair shop as if it were a service part. I used an epoxy glue to seal the...
Powerful and quiet. Good capacity.
Poor quality plastic used to make the bowl.

I'm a massive Sunbeam fan. I've always thought of the brand as being a good one, safe, secure, and good products. This food processor doesn't disappoint me. It's easy to use, no more difficult than any other food processor re removal of lid (the lid...
Chopping blade is very difficult to remove without losing a finger!
Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
I've found it works great but removing the blades after grating etc is really difficult. I'm under 40, no arthritis & find it really difficult to remove the blades. Also the storage tray for blades is a great idea, but this too can be difficult to...
Found it worked ok
Blades really hard to remove (had to use spoons either side sometimes)
Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
I just got off the phone with sunbeam complaining about the spindle and blade and was totally blown off. I have found it is really difficult and dangerous to get the spindle and blade apart. I was told they have never heard of this problem ( even...
Good storage of blades
Dangerous and difficult to get blade and spindle apart, noisy, heavy, hard to get lid off, poor customer service in NZ
Consumer review (productreview.com.au)
Plastic in the middle of the slicing blade broke in the first week of purchasing this machine. Had the blade replaced but it broke again. This time we replaced the whole machine with a Breville Food Wizz. Only had the Oskar for 3 weeks.
The draw at the bottom is handy for the extra blades. Great of mincing fish for patties.
Bulky and heavy base. Lid too tight and hard to remove.

I really like this food processor and in general Sumbeam products. It's well into it's 2nd year, bordering on it's 3rd and I've never had a problem with it.
It does what it's supposed to. Chops, grates, slices, grinds. Mine is 2 years old and still going strong.
The rubber ring seal often gets caught and it's hard to get the lid on. The middle piece that holds the blade gets food in it that's hard to get out. It's noisy!
