Cuisinart DLC-5 Food Processor: Coming home to Cuisinart on a smaller scale and smaller price

(Note: As of this writing, the picture associated with this review is not the Cuisinart DLC-5, but a newer 7-cup model.)Several years ago when my circa 1980 11-cup Cuisinart Food Processor finally gave up the ghost and would ...

Solid Build, Relatively quiet, Excellent chopping, shredding & slicing performance, reasonably priced

7-Cup size may be too small for some, Permanently mounted slicing/shredding disks, accessories expensive

Cuisinart Food Processor

I picked this food processor for my wedding registry and it was a very smart decision. I am able to whip up a dip or salsa in a significantly fast pace compared to cutting all the produce up or trying to mash anything. It is very safe and simple to...

More than what Cuisinart makes it out to be.

Cuisinart markets this as its entry-level 7-cup food processor. As such, it can often be found on sale at department stores like Kohl's for as low as $75. What they would seemingly rather you not know, to the point where they de-listed some previously ...

Durable, easy to clean, quiet, many accessories available.

7 cups can be too small at times. Bowl has square corners.

This classic machine does so much. When I was shopping for a food processor, I knew I wanted a Cuisinart. It does so many things, it seems like I never use it enough. I've used mine to make pesto, pasta dough, sauces, grate large amounts of cheese...

Money well spent, great mid-sized processor

I bought this product because I was tired of slicing, dicing and shredding by hand. I also wanted to get into Once a Month Cooking (where you prepare a month’s worth of dishes in one day and freeze them for dinners throughout the month) and knew ...

ease of use and cleaning, price

My favorite appliance ever!

I was given this Cuisinart as a gift from my mother. She said it would be the most important appliance I would ever own. I wasn't so sure... I couldn't get the stupid thing to work. Its got so many parts, its hard to use, and its just bulky. Funny ...

This machine does everything, quickly!

A little hard to figure out
