Mess, mess, mess

I hate using this mixer, the lowest speed is so vigorous I always end up with half the ingredients on the bench, even after buying the deepest mixing bowls I could find. Creaming butter and sugar is a nightmare. Arm gets sore trying to control it if...

Cheap

Low setting too fast, spits food everywhere, heavy/ hard to control

High quality item that has good power to mix thick batters.

I've only experienced positive things with Cuisinart. Product quality is outstanding. Affordable and excellent brand. Highly recommended I choose only to buy this brand now for my kitchen.

Quality, powerful, easy to use, easy to clean. Attractive.

Good so far

This is a nice, basic handheld mixer. I have always found that the mixers with the flattened whisks aren't good for whipping egg whites (don't go as stiff). This one has a separate egg whisk attachment and nice thin whisks, both of which work really...

Reliable and powerful.

Good

It deals with double batches of scone dough most impressively, and will whip egg whites really well with the whisk attachment provided. The beaters have no center posts so creaming butter & sugar doesn't end up with you trying to extract a sticky lump...

The only complaint is the first speed is a little high, so you can end up with a flurry of flour or sugar when you first start mixing.
