It's very light and parts are a bit thin, but it was cheap and reviewed well. It does work quite well but is very noisy. I think i will wait for it to pack up or break and invest in a higher end more sturdy one. But ok so far.

I prefer the serrated blade and found it works on my 609 slicer, it is just the same mount. I make my own sourdough bread and I need a sharp blade to cut the crust. I keep a spare blade on hand for when I need it.
