Despite Amazon's almost petulant reluctance to launch the Kindle in the UK, there are several ebook readers available here. The cream of the crop is probably Sony's Reader PRS-505, but there are competitors. New to the ...

The Pixelar e-Reader lacks the panache of Sony's offering and falls down on some technical aspects too. But it does cover the bases, and we had no problems actually reading e-texts with it.
