Earlier this year we looked at the Cybook Opus ereader from Bookeen. We really liked it because it was a plain and simple ebook reader with very few fancy features which draw you in but can ...
Ease of use counts for a lot with with ereaders and we have no complaints about the Cybook Opus 2010 edition. It is a bit small for some tastes, but the new, faster software and slight battery life improvement are welcome. If you are in the market for...

It's a funny thing about the Cybook Opus eReader, but the protective case which the actual unit sits in is by far the most well-made part of the entire product. The stiff black leather looks very fancy and well stitched together, while the Cybook...

A neat, compact e-book reader that competes well with its rivals and wins with its accelerometer-driven auto-rotating display.
We found the Bookeen Cybook Opus very easy to use and it's certainly one of the best devices in its class. It's not cheap: we haven't seen the Opus available for less than £210 and more often than not as much as £250, the same price Sony is asking for...

If you are looking for a book which will not aggravate you, don't buy this one. Their website is full of broken links. In order to get a firmware update, you must register, and it will send you a verification link with broken URL. Support does not...
Good sturdy looks. Very light. Controls are few and intuitive. Long battery life
Software it came with is not working well on non-english texts, a lot of manual work needed to read non-english book. Very slow on long texts when you scroll far enough. Awful, shady support

I would consider this a good purchase. I was worried because there so many choices now and was worried I either paid too much or a better one would come out soon. So far, this still seems to be the lightest in weight I see out there, and its...
Nice design, very light
doesn't have touchscreen

I'm very satisfied with opus. Its the size that made the decison for me. It has an apple ipod style and trendy character that I couldnt find in the others, which all seemed very ugly to me. Overall, very good functionaility and performance. I recommend.
Great size, fast page turns, very clear text
no touchscreen ; no wireless
