What a dud

I have a kindle, but was convinced by a salesman that the Nook would be better for my daughter. NO WAY! It is impossible to use. Impossible to do even the simplest operations like downloading a book for my daughter to read. When we bought a movie (they...

Excellent eReader

I love my Nook Color. I'm an avid reader of books and comics but I don't have the physical room for them anymore as I've collected way too many over the past 20 years. Because of this I moved onto eBooks and eComics. I chose the Nook Color even though...

Colour screen, apps, large selection of books, gallery, cheaper ebook prices

Purchasing from the website is a minor bother

Don't waste your money: if it works it is nice but very limited.

I've had my Nook Colour for about 9 months (with a one-year warranty which, according to the website provides a full replacement or refund for faulty items). While the device itself is quite nice, it is locked to Barnes & Noble so you can only purchase...

Relatively lightweight, feels nice to hold, clear colour screen, good options for reading books, web access and apps

Bad warranty service, books and apps unavailable to purchase outside the USA, page turning can be a bit hit-and-miss, library unpleasant to manage, books & apps are expensive if you do manage to purchase
