Very good DVD player!

If you're looking for a pretty well made product that delivers, I don't think you can go wrong with Sony. I have only tried the DVD player and the Data DVD formats.

This would get all 5 eggs except for moderate amount of motor noise... not quiet when running. Otherwise, WOW! Sony is good quality, almost always, which is why I didn't believe the bad review from the other person, and I'm glad I trusted my gut. This...

The motor noise is noticeable, if you mute your audio, which is the only flaw I can find

Very good DVD player!

I was excited to get my new DVD player, but it won't even turn on. Definitely not worth buying only to have to send it back and have to buy a new one!

the best SD480 dpi.

For the price you can't beat it. Even at 480SD it looks great. If you have a flat screen with component inputs then use the 16:9 ratio with your t.v. Use the panoramic view it's as good as a upconverted DVD player.

User guide is a bit cofusing.
