Many features and it supports usb and dvd disk. Twin Tuner recording is good.
Archiving to USB-HDD is merely an extension of the internal HDD. You cannot play the archive on any other devices. If the Panasonic recorder fails you've lost your archive as it cannot be played on any other device.

I can't get much HD on our Freeview so I use SD - so 100's of hours of recording time. It's 135 hours of HD but we get about 400 hours of SD Records two programs at once Easy to use menus. Pick a program, press OK and it records up to a week ahead or...
I have to switch my TV to HD to get the recorder via a menu. When I do so it goes to the channel of the program I'm recording at the time, even if it was on another channel before. This is irritating
