Simple mechanism to open and shut, just a SCART output. It was cheap and it is very old school. OK for the kids, well not the boys in this colour perhaps.

Good all round DVD player- but again I think Sony seem to have a problem with dvd players where after about a year the laser gets dodgey- so it starts to not always recognise the discs. Think i'll stick with sony TVs and another brand of dvd player....
