Poor reliability, and slow service

 

I've now had a PDW9980SS for about 18 months. We remodeled our kitchen and installed all new stainless steel GE Profile appliances. The dishwasher had to be repaired for a faulty control panel immediately after installation. It suffered three more ...

Good looking machine. When it works, it cleans the dishes well.

It is very unreliable and potentially dangerous.

It melted everything for the 3rd time

 

We bought last years model 99 something (exact unit different numbers) and loved it! Super duper quiet great looks cleaned great! All good on Wisteria lane...or is it! It worked fine for 2 months then one day I come in and noticed whisps of smoke ...

Does not clean dishes!

 

My new (i.e., within 3 months) dishwasher does not adequately clean the dishes. On average, it leaves about 20% of the load dirty. It also says that pre-rinsing is not necessary; however, if you do not pre-rinse (and sometimes pre-soak), that 20% ...
