I like the HDD and at it seems to do in a reasonable time what you ask of it.
Can't seem to get the Pause TV to do anything other than commence recording the currently viewed channel. Trying to start playback requires you to stop the recording process. Hardly Pause TV.

Once you get the hang of it it is simple to use and easy to upload & download DVD's
Poor manual you have to read it several times to get a handle on things but once you have mastered it it is simple to use

After around 18 months of use the devide displays a "Recording error" when trying to burn any kind of double-layer DVD. I haven't check a single layer discs since I don't use them. If the devise is in a meantime out of guarrantee time it make no sense...
