Excellent underwater, and above

This is a review of the SeaLife DC800 digital camera that you can use both under and above water. It consists of a standard (but modified for underwater performance) 8-megapixel digital camera and a very tough underwater housing. Underwater you can use...

Great, very handy underwater camera with generous 200 feet depth limit, Without housing, it's a small and handy digital camera for use anywhere, Tough, rugged housing very simple to use and operate, Takes good pictures above and under water, Powerful...

Sealife DC800

Easy to hold underwater with gloves on. Good auto-focus.

The menu buttons are quite hard to push when the camera's in the casing.

Sealife DC800

Case is excellent and looks the business and kept everything dry right down to 40 meters.

Camera is very poor, I have a number of cameras and this one is by far the worst. Of similar quality and ability as one I bought from Sainsburys for less than a tenth of the price. My dive buddy was using a Sony and his pictures were much better.

I will buy the camera together with the Strobes

Underwater photography is all about lighting. Without extra lighting the picture will be all blue. Sealife has an excellent strobe to go with and they are not expensive but the picture look like taken by a several times more expensive Nikon and Canon...

good flash light system to go with the camera

movie is not as good as other HDDV system (Bonica is a good option)
