Nikon D810

One of the most important new DSLRs of the year

Fantastic image quality ; Fast and accurate autofocus ; Superb dynamic range

No inbuilt Wi-Fi ; No 4K video capture ; Not a huge upgrade over the D800E

It’ll do the trick for more casual daytime shooting, although the screen doesn’t flip out as it does on many lesser cameras. To be fair – you’d look pretty silly shooting selfies with the Nikon D810.

Nikon D810 review

The replacement for the D800 and D800E promises to deliver even more detail

High pixel count ; No anti-aliasing filter for better detail resolution ; 5fps shooting at full-resolution

Huge file sizes ; No Wi-Fi built-in ; Moire interference be more of an issue

Nikon says that the D810 produces the best image quality of any DSLR in its history and we can't wait to put that claim to the test.

The Nikon D810 is the maker's highest resolution DSLR camera

Rock solid construction ; Heavyweight features ; 36MP resolution sensor

Weight ; Nose smudges on LCD

Nikon D810 review

Landmark cameras come along every once in a while. In 2012 it was the super-high-resolution Nikon D800 that astounded us. We couldn't quite believe how much this 36.3-megapixel full-frame beast defied our initially doubtful expectations. Rather than...

Huge images can offer epic quality, sturdy weather-sealed build, excellent autofocus system in single or continuous autofocus

Where’s the 4K video?, single SD slot (single CF slot), slower shutter speed deficiencies are amplified due to resolution

Rather than look at the D810 like a small upgrade to the D800, we've been impressed with what this camera can do. So much that we consider it to be Nikon's best DSLR camera.

Hands on: Nikon D810 review, Nikon's best DSLR? - Pocket-lint

Nikon's ultra-high resolution camera just turned things up a notch. Or maybe a just degree. The Nikon D810 is the replacement for both the earlier D800,

Nikon D810 review

Nikon's new top-end DLSR is all about image quality - but is it missing too many techy features?

Superb image quality and dynamic range ; Great handling and control ; Super-fast focusing

No 4K video ; Missing a few extra features ; Not a huge improvement over D800E

It may not have every trendy feature under the sun, but there's no arguing with the Nikon D810's superb performance and image quality.

Nikon D810

The full-frame (FX) format Nikon D810 is a 36.3MP DSLR with a CMOS sensor without an optical low pass filter. The camera can deliver up to 5 full-resolution frames per second with enhanced noise reduction in its ISO 64-12,800 range, which is expandable...

  (Rating Hidden)

The Nikon D810 is Nikon's new flagship high-end DSLR, with a 36.2Mp full-frame sensor, a 51-point auto-focus system and the kind of features you'd expect from a pro-level camera. Full-frame sensors used to be the preserve of high-end models, but are...
