Fujifilm X-T3 review: Setting the standard for mirrorless

 

Fujifilm's enthusiast mirrorless camera; the third-gen model brings faster focus, touch control, greater speed and 4K60 video capture. It's superb.

Great OLED electronic viewfinder and tri-adjustable LCD screen ; 100% frame coverage for autofocus ; Impressive speed (11fps burst) and autofocus ability ; 4K60 will be attractive for some ; Doesn't amp the price point over predecessor

Touchscreen lacks sensitivity/response ; Smallest autofocus point not the fastest ; Dioptre adjustment fiddly to use ; No compatibility with X-T2 grip (due to new footprint)

Stand the X-T3 up against any camera of its type in the same price bracket and it'll more than hold its own. Whether for stills, video, static or moving subjects, this Fujifilm takes the benchmark set by the X-T2 and raises it yet another notch.

We take the latest X-T3 mirrorless camera through our testing to see how it has improved. For a camera that looks very much the same as its predecessor, it is surprisingly different in performance. Oh and it's cheaper too.
