Canon EOS 750D

It might be getting on a bit in DSLR years, but the EOS 750D remains a good budget buy even compared to Canon's newer entry-level models.

Affordable entry into DSLRs ; Wi-Fi & NFC ; Fully articulating touch-sensitive screen

Viewfinder offers 95% coverage, not 100% ; No 4K video, Full HD restricted to 30fps ; Slightly plasticky construction

A little basic by 2018 standards, but available at a very attractive price for first-time buyers.

Canon EOS Rebel T6i / EOS 750D review

One of the best entry-level DSLRs around

24MP APS-C format sensor ; Great touchscreen and button/dial control combination ; Wi-Fi and NFC built in ; Vari-angle screen

Can't quite match the D5600 for detail resolution ; Viewfinder only covers 95% of the scene ; Needs a quicker way to set AF point

The announcement of EOS Rebel T7i / EOS 800D means that the EOS Rebel T6i / EOS 750D moves down the Canon line-up, but despite this the T6i / 750D is still a great camera that's capable of delivering superb image quality. The polished control layout is...

Canon EOS 750D review: Revered mid-ranger

Canon is testing the water with its latest DSLR cameras. The EOS 750D, which updates the earlier 700D mid-ranger from 2013, is also joined by the ever-so-slightly higher specification 760D, giving more choice to customers. Or just adding more...

Great performance from autofocus system, tilt-angle screen delivers live view setup better than many DSLR competitors, excellent all-round image quality

The 760D and older 70D seem to make the 750D harder to justify, no 4K features like Panasonic Lumix G7, viewfinder 95 per cent field-of-view

We're rather fond of the Canon EOS 750D. It's proven a solid companion for a variety of shooting scenarios and capturing some great travel shots, particularly thanks to that vari-angle LCD screen. Great performance and great image quality combine to...

Canon EOS 750D and 760D: Similar features, different designs, more choice (hands-on) - Pocket-lint

Now here's something we didn't expect: Canon unveiled not one, but two new mid-range DSLR cameras to its EOS lineup. The new EOS 750D and 760D are like

Canon EOS 750D review

Canon creates the archetypal entry-level camera

Incredibly easy to use ; Lots of detail in images ; Responsive touchscreen ; Fast autofocus

Plasticky build ; Poor battery life ; Not the absolute best image quality at this price

An easy-to-use and live with DSLR that's equally easy to take great shots with

Canon EOS 750D Review

Reviewed: the new 24 megapixel Canon EOS 750D with built in Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity.

24 megapixel sensor with low noise ; Good noise performance up to ISO3200/6400 ; 3inch vari-angle touch-screen ; Impressively quick live view focus (benefits video also) ; Wi-Fi and NFC built in ; Excellent image quality ; Excellent colour reproduction...

Lens abberation correction slows continous shooting slightly ; Does not feature AF microadjustment ; 760D isn't much more (+£50) and offers more controls

Canon has finally caught up to the competition by offering an APS-C sensor camera with a 24 megapixel CMOS sensor. If you already have a Canon EOS xxD camera of a lower resolution, and want higher image quality with better detail, then the Canon EOS...

Canon 750D

Canon's update to its beginner range see a bigger sensor and smart-device integration.

If you’re looking for an entry-level DSLR, and want one of the latest models packed with up-to-date technology, then the Canon 750D is a very worthy option. The new sensor is the second largest in Canon’s entire line-up, outsizing even the...

Canon EOS Rebel T6i review

With photos, the T6i continues to exemplify what Canon's entry-level Rebels can do. Videos, however, still isn't a forte.

Excellent stills ; New 24-megapixel sensor ; Wi-Fi/NFC for sharing ; Fast response, focusing

30p videos a bit humdrum ; Small viewfinder ; Wireless pairing could be improved

The T6i and T6s capture really fine photos and acceptable videos. Photography continues to be a Rebel strongpoint, but video could be better. The new Rebels are more evolutionary models than anything radically different from the T5i. Still, these are...

Canon EOS Rebel T6i/750D review: Family-friendly Rebel T6i dSLR should get the job done

With improved performance over its predecessor, theT6i should continue Canon's crowd-pleasing tradition in consumer dSLRs.

The T6i performs much better than the models that preceded it and the design remains streamlined and functional.

Image quality and autofocus don't fare as well as they should in very low light.

The Canon EOS Rebel T6i/750D continues the line's tradition of being the crowd-pleasing choice for family photographers.
