Unable to install MS Office

Great form factor, quiet, quick for what my mom needs

For the life of me, I can not get Microsoft Office installed. I've tried 2010, 2007, none will install. We kept getting the error that there was a problem with the Microsoft installer as it was corrupt ; We reinstalled Windows, still received the same...

Great small computer

Love the small size and how fast Windows 7 starts up. More than enough power for internet browsing, Office & Lightroom. The HDMI output is a great addition

Keyboard and mouse are wired, but that's expected at this price point

Fast and affordable

Small size makes it handy right behind my monitor - can reach the ports and memory card reader slots. Uses less electrical power than a full size PC

Very fast and quite

minor drawbacks - keyboard and mouse are too small for my hands. Using my old HP keyboard

Very GOOD

Perfect for every low-end application.

Setup took 2 minutes, everything works perfect. The wireless connects right the way if you have a unsecured line, Sets up your account by its self etc

Lot of products that are trials, took a while to uninstall them

Purchased several of these

I bought 4 of these for a local library and 1 more for a High School. Had no issues with any of the 5 I bought. All worked fine out of the box and were speedy enough to satisfy basic needs. Web/Email etc... Haven't had to deal with tech support and...

I really don't like small cases with non standard power supplies, but the price was right and it is a compact unit so I opted for it despite the PSU

Sweet

Despite my gripes I still have to give them 5 eggs for trouble-free and good value product. My customers are not gamers, btw, and don't need special graphics cards, etc.

I totally disagree with the complaints of the earlier reviewer. This is the 4th one of these I've purchased for customers in the last year. They get newer hw/sw each time in the same cabinet for about the same price, i.e. it just gets better ; I have...

1. Cheap plastic linkage between the dvd ejection button and the drive button. Takes a specific panel layout on the drive if you ever have to replace it, plus it has to be a vertical-capable tray. So far I haven't had to deal with this. Customer has to...

Nice package for the Price

New Intell Processors are the best out there right now! Would recomend to Friends and Family!

Small and very quite. Powers up fast with lots of memory and low power consumption. Have it set up to a Asus 18inch lcd monitor and the colors look amazing compared to my last desktop. Have no issues so far and very little bloatware. Love the i3...

Good So Far

After initial set-up, I have had no problems with it. I have it going into an Onkyo TX-SR607 Receiver (HDMI Input) and then out to a 57" Hitachi rear projection CRT HDTV (HDMI out). It took me a while to get it to look decent on my TV but that is just...

Small footprint. Low power consumption. Integrated HDMI ; Strong 802.11 b/g/n wireless with external antenna with suction cup on the bottom of antenna

When I powered it up for the first time, it went into the BIOS. It kept going into the BIOS with each subsequent power-on. You would think that the computer would already be pre-configured. The instructions are very vague but I finally realized I had...

JUNK- No Customer Support Available

None that I found

Wouldn't boot consistently. Could never connect to internet by wire or wirelessly. I can deal with issues, BUT here is the best part - I could not get help from Gateway because they said my SN was not a valid ACER computer. Called a dozen times and...
