Sony VAIO VGC-VA1

Although expensive, the VA1 is a deluxe device.

Great idea - shame it doesn't work!

2 dead pixels in middle of screen, TV does not work properly (still trying to sort out!) and get a horrible high pitch noise from the fan now and again.

The VGC VA-1 is well constructed and fairly robust with a good software package. It works well as a TV and a computer and was easy to set up.

No back-up CDs available. I would not like to see it crash.

Design integrating majority of external cables.
