This one's a bit odd

Not sure what they were thinking here. This is a pretty high-end product, it feels like only the lowest end cheapest junk does not offer these LEDs. This makes me a bit nervous going forward using these.

I've been purchasing the DS series for 3 years (100s of them) and not a single bad unit. Nearly as good as the prior models

Ethernet ports missing link and activity LEDs. This is rather annoying when deploying these units in the field.

I'm very happy with my purchases, I put the Intel G3258 in one and an i5 in the other -- both with 16 GB 1600 G. Skill ram. They're humming, and I'm pleased. One is being used as a network appliance, the other a lower power Linux desktop to supplement...

Very small Very quiet Sips power Plenty of USB ports, and support for 3 monitors (2 DP, 1 HDMI) Includes pre-punched holes for WiFi antennas Lots of mounting options with all the included hardware No problems with packaging, drivers, performance or...

Very limited BIOS 2 internal SATA ports, one is 3 Gb/s the other 6 Gb/s -- but you can only use one. Front plate has no slot for SD card reader, although there is one inside There are no rubber feet, which prevents stacking (I bought two)

No hole in faceplate for SD card

I guess I could cut a hole for the SD card, but that might make it look ghetto. I put in a support ticket on Shuttle's site. We'll see if I get a response.

Nice, compact case

The faceplate appears to be for the wrong model and has no hole for the SD card. I'm not happy, but I don't think it is a deal breaker

DOA, won't turn on

Ordered one, tossed in some parts, pressed the power button, and nothing happened.Swapped in a different processor. Power button still didn't do anything. No response so far after two days from Shuttle support.

Great Little Box

I purchased this along with a i3-4370 (BX80646I34370) and 8GB of GSkill RAM (F3-12800CL9D-8GBSQ). I tossed in an SSD I had laying around and was good to go. I've installed Sophos UTM9 on the box and it's running like a total champ with the full UTM...

Powerful and fast with a crazy amount of external IO ports including dual NIC ports ; Small - Roughly the size of a home cable router ; Quiet - Whisper quiet with stock fans. I have mine 3 feet away from me as I type this and I can't hear a thing ;...

The only con is that it sports one of those blue LED's that shine with the light of a thousand suns on the front panel

Awesome so far

This little system has a huge advantage over the Nuc, its a little larger and has a desktop socket 1150 cpu (that can be changed) with two excellent little fans that keep the cpu cool. for the price ($224) you get a fantastic little pc case with an...

I cant believe this tiny little pc runs a core i7 cpu (65W TDP) and performs so well! Its exactly what I've been looking for. This machine is used for our kitchen pc but we wanted the highest graphics we could get without a gpu. Cpu never hotter than...

No room for a gpu. It would be nice if someone would make a gpu that would fit into an M.2 pcie slot
