I bought this desk over a yr ago, and within 8 months the drawer fell apart. Now the sliders for both the keyboard and the drawer are broken.

Assembly was fairly easy. I like that the screws, nuts, and bolts were blister packed and clearly labeled. Everything had numbers so it was easy to figure out which bolt to use.

This desk is a good idea..good size, good options (like the drawer and CD rack), but it is very poorly made. The "wood look" laminate paper is not smoothly applied...bubbles, etc. the tray sticks out from the desk about 2 inches in the closed position,...

I got this simply because of the price at 49.99 (minus $10 coupon). It was easy to put together, and the wood is decent, but the top shelf is not too sturdy. I've got an HP Photosmart printer up there, and it's definately not sturdy, but should be safe...
