Complete Waste of Time

Save your $139.99 and buy a gun to shoot yourself in the foot as it will be much less painful than dealing with Netgear for this kind of garbarge.

It works with the netgear routers...in therory

I received an extremely old version with the box, so I had to go online to download the new version. After installing it, I looked for my product key which was nowhere to be found. After calling support, I was placed on hold for 40 minutes and then...

NETGEAR VPN05L Prosafe VPN Client Software - Five User License (no media, License only)

Do not buy this product if you intend to use windows 7. I have waited 7 months since purchase for a patch or driver update supporting windows 7 and now a new version but no patch or help whatsoever. The netgear site has no way to contact netgear and no...

Easy to buy

I've always used and liked this software in the past. Needed the new version for Vista compatibility

This is not compatible with 64-bit systems! This isn't Newegg's fault because Netgear doesn't post it in their system requirements. They do not even have a timeline of when a 64-bit version will be available. It took them a good 2 years to even release...

No Media?

Conflicts badly with the IBM "bloatware" installed on their ThinkPads. Uninstall the TVT Network adapter and you're all good.

Worked First Try. Withstood a "pen" test

Agreed, I expected to be able to download it, and use it immediately, but had to wait for the CD also

NETGEAR VPN01L Prosafe VPN Client Software - One User License (no media, License only)

Product worked as designed. Was able to connect to FVS318 remotely and control networked PC's over PPTP / L2TP VPN

Although the description of the product states "(no media, license only)" I had to wait for the disc to be able to install it. Appearently the license is on the CD and installed with the product, because it did not ask for a key when installed. Which...
