MSI Wind Top AE2712G review

This is the least expensive 27in all-in-one PC we've reviewed of late and offers a correspondingly lower specification with somewhat lacklustre performance. The nVidia graphics are particularly disappointing. However, you do get a Blu-ray player and a...

MSI Wind Top AE2281G review

MSI's compact 21.5in touchscreen all-in-one PC features the low-power Core i5-3450S Ivy Bridge processor, and costs a lot less than comparable all-in-one PCs.

The MSI Wind Top AE2281G is a low-cost system that is good value for money and performs, for the most part, just as well as many more expensive PCs. It can't match their premium build quality and styling though. Memory and hard drive space have been...

MSI Wind Top AE2050-008US

For cash-strapped art dabblers or budding digital painters, the MSI Wind Top AE2050-008US may be your top pick for touch-screen PCs.

Touch screen. Large hard drive. Interesting touch browser. ArtRage Studio is bundled. USB 3.0. Super Charger port.

Only 1,600-by-900 resolution screen (not 1080p). Low-powered 3D graphics. Wired keyboard and mouse. Only 60-day subscription to Norton Internet Secutiry. HDMI is output only.

Review: MSI AE2050

MSI takes aim at the only segment of the desktop market showing any life -- all-in-one computers -- by offering a classy-looking machine at a...

Uses just 65 watts under normal conditions. Extraordinarily cheap. Lots of USB ports (six), and a card reader. “Wind Touch” interface option is fun to play with… once it eventually loads

Too slow for regular use. Using “SuperCharger” USB port disables data transfer functions and has to be manually turned off and on. Chintzy keyboard includes no Delete key (except as an alt function on the numeric keypad)

MSI Wind Top AE2050

Hot on the heels of the Wind Top AE2220 comes the MSI Wind Top AE2050, a budget all-in-one PC that's all about compromise. For this model, MSI shed a few hundred bucks off the asking price ($680 as of April 26, 2011), but also gone are the AE220's...

Above-average display quality ; USB 3.0 and HDMI connectivity

Center-heavy speaker setup ; Slow general performance

The MSI Wind Top AE2050 delivers compelling features, inexpensively. But several compromises keep it from surpassing its budget-priced peers.

A pretty good option for a second PC in the home.

Finally - an all-in-one PC that, thanks to Fusion, actually ticks the right boxes.

MSI Wind Top AE2400, a solid all-rounder

This all-in-one touchscreen PC combines desktop and mobile hardware to build an all-round entertainer.

The AE2400 MSI has come out with a great balance of price and performance. For the price point you can get a more powerful desktop PC, but you won’t have the touchscreen functionality nor the tightly integrated design. As long as your needs aren’t too...
