MSI Wind Top AE1900 review

 

The MSI Wind Top AE1900's screen is larger than the 15.6in Asus Eee Top 1602, which is only marginally cheaper, and it has an integrated DVD±RW drive.

A nice, big display, a touchscreen, 802.11n wireless capabilities, available in black or white...the MSI Wind Top AE1900 seems to have the basics covered. But a lack of upgradability, along with picture quality that's average at best, pulls this system...

Ideal as a second PC or for undemanding general use. Indeed, the touchscreen may well see this model become the kitchen computer.

However, don't let these results put you off. When put to its intended use as a second PC for quick and easy Web surfing, emailing and basic office-type work; the Wind Top AE1900 performs perfectly well, looks great and is very enjoyable to use

Touch-screen, quiet

Doesn't include much touch related software

The MSI Wind Ae1900 could be useful as a second computer in the home. Once the touch-screen novelty wears off you can't really see the point of having a physical keyboard anymore and even resent going back to one.
