Needs some configuring to have it set up like you want, ethernet is 100mb not gigabit (fine for streaming, but you might find it slow if you want to transfer a lot of files to it),

- don't like the remote, it's just basic. Minix should look at the solutions other companies have found for a remote that works in Android (controls the mouse cursor with the arrows)

Got this to replace my BoxeeBox as BoxeeBox doesn't support > 2GB drives. Turns out X8 doesn't either. But this was quickly rectified with a free app from the Google Play store. Hence the great value. $130 avails you to everything in the Google Play...

Not as polished as iOS devices. Doesn't work 100% out of the box. Requires tweaking and new firmware is still unavailable to fix issues (unless you want to install beta firmware). Development team seems really understaffed and human resource...

5 Ghz wifi and the Android OS means you have alot of choices when it comes to streaming apps and that it works very well with no interference.

Stock launcher is non intuative and confusing. Hulu plays audio but video is a black screen. You need an air mouse remote if you plan to use hulu or netflix.
