Lenovo IdeaCentre Flex 20 review

Lenovo's Flex 20 is not the best implementation of a portable all-in-one design we've yet seen, but it is the only one we've tested with a price tag that makes sense.

Lenovo’s Flex 20 is not the best implementation of a portable all-in-one design we’ve yet seen, but it is the only one we’ve tested with a price tag that makes sense. Dell’s XPS 18 and HP’s Envy Rove, both of which start at almost $1,000, are too...

Lenovo's Flex 20 is a tabletop PC for less

The specs won't wow you, but this is the least-expensive way to get a family friendly 20-inch tablet/all-in-one hybrid.

The ; offers a big, battery-powered screen for less than the competition, plus a very handy custom software interface for tabletop mode.

The screen resolution is low, the CPU underpowered, and the battery not very long-lasting.

It costs less than some other tabletop PCs, but the Lenovo Flex 20 can still be a very good family-style household computer if you don't mind the lower-end specs.

Lenovo IdeaCentre Flex 20

The Lenovo IdeaCentre Flex 20 is a good portable all-in-one desktop for general users.

Compact portable all-in-one desktop. Good life on battery. Large screen for a portable. Comfy external keyboard.

No HDMI in/Out. No SD card slot. No dual-band Wi-Fi. Screen resolution less than full HD 1080p. Only two USB 3.0 ports. A lot of pre-installed apps.

The Lenovo IdeaCentre Flex 20 is a nicely priced portable all-in-one system, seemingly tailor-made for those folks who really want to try out touch computing, yet need much more computing power or better program compatibility than can be found in a...

Lenovo Flex 20 review: This tabletop all-in-one makes too many compromises

Giant tablets such as this one promise to revolutionize family game night, but the Flex 20 isn't up to the task.

Solid build quality ; Light weight for an all-in-one with a 19.5-inch display ; Reasonable price tag

Low-resolution display ; A lowly Core i3 is your only CPU choice ; Not enough I/O ports

The Lenovo Flex 20 makes a lot of compromises to achieve its light weight and low price. Most people would be better off saving a little more cash to buy a machine they won’t outgrow so quickly.

Lenovo Flex 20 review

Add another to the small-but-growing list of tabletop PCs. The Lenovo Flex 20 is a middle-of-the-road, 20-inch battery-powered screen with a kickstand, making it half-tablet, half all-in-one. It's thinner and lighter (at 7.7 pounds) than some of the...

Lenovo Flex 20 All-in-One Review: Small Enough for Train Rides, Big Enough for Desks

We love Lenovo for making table PCs a thing! The new Lenovo Flex 20 IdeaCenter is a desktop computer, a tablet, and a table PC all in one. The 19.5” display is a standalone computer with full 10-point multi-touch, integrated battery, and table-top...

Multi-purpose, Price is right, Retractable Stand, Tiltable, Runs Windows 8 64 bit, USB 3.0, Built-in battery, Built-in webcam and speakers, Includes mouse/keyboard/accessories

Using the included wireless mouse leaves just one free USB, Battery could be longer, Lackluster Specs—no upgrades available, No handle or carrying case, No ethernet

Lenovo IdeaCentre Flex 20

The IdeaCentre Flex 20 is another innovative desktop PC/tablet hybrid from Lenovo. It looks just like a standard all-in-one desktop PC, but fold up the stand and unplug the power cord, and you've got a 20-inch tablet.

Sleek design with foldable stand, Accurate & responsive touch screen, Touch-friendly games, apps and Aura interface, Built-in battery

Display isn't 1080p HD, Performance is only average, One USB port is taken by mouse/keyboard wireless adapter

screen got damaged easily

Dell and most touch screen computers do not use glass. they use plastic. they do not have this problem. I believe Lenovo use glass is to copy the idea of Ipad, but Ipad is much smaller and lighter. even though ipad got the same problem

it is like a big screen Ipad with Windows 8 operating system. I just use this computer just over a month

there is big structural design problem. the computer is very heavy but the aluminum frame is very weak so that it can not hold the glass screen. I did not drop this computer and it cracks very easily because the frame is very easy to bend. the warranty...

Idea Center a Plus

I can a definite advantage to go from an AIO type arrangement to one that is somewhat portable. It does very well as a stand alone in a small footprint.

Great resolution but not retina level but exceptionally usable Good wireless mouse and solid feel keyboard. Display size just right for closer-in viewing

Somewhat awkward in a portable mode. There is no hand grip. The base kickstand is not suitable for a carry grip. Slightly heavy to be carrying from room to room
