Lenovo C540 Touch review: An excellent budget all-in-one that delivers on performance

The Lenovo C540 Touch may not look like much, but under the hood it delivers some decent performance with an abundance of memory that won't leave you scrounging for more.

8GB of memory ; Very good productivity benchmark scores ; Great keyboard

Weak integrated graphics ; Display recessed deep behind bezel

Lenovo's C540 Touch isn't the sexiest all-in-one we've seen, but it is an exceptional value at just $719 (as of 8/30/13)

Lenovo C540

The Lenovo C540 is a solid choice for users looking for a reasonably-priced all-in-one desktop that can tackle daily home productivity tasks without looking like a total eyesore.

Handsomely designed space-saving chassis. 23-inch HD display is the best in its class. Affordably priced.

No USB 3.0 connectivity. Can't run all of our benchmark tests.

Lenovo C540 All-In-One Desktop PC Review

We first got word of the Lenovo C540 all-in-one back back in November of last year, however it wasn't until January when we saw a complete set of details and some pricing. That news came during CES and while that was a few months back, the C540 has...

Bottom line here, the Lenovo C540 all-in-one seems to be well suited for the intended audience. That is to say the average home user that wants something powerful enough for day to day use. Of course, the good looks and relatively slim design only go...

Lenovo C540 Touch: An excellent budget all-in-one that delivers on performance

Lenovo's C540 Touch is one of the two best all-in-ones in this roundup. And while I have no significant complaints about the quality of its multitouch display, the manner in which the glass is recessed behind the bezel is disconcerting when you're...

Lenovo C540 AIO PC

high quality, easy to set up - works very well and its pretty quick, handles web / office easily. Windows 8.1 potentially a little too complicated than it needs to be and there is perhaps too much proprietary software pre-loaded which tbh isn't...

not a lot - screen could be bigger with the same dimensions, ie a smaller frame which is quite thick..mouse and keyboard are ok but are quite cheap feeling compared to the high quality of the screen / main unit.
