Great for budget gaming

Great value for this overall. The CPU can a bottleneck if your playing mmorpgs, but high settings still yield 40+ usually 60 Fps consistently with little stuttering. After almost a year of ownership this computer is still holding up great. I'd suggest...

The Pros of this computer really outweigh the cons ; R9 270 is a very capable card at factory clock speeds ; The case looks much better in person ; Playing all games at 40+ FPS on high - ultra ; (WoW, Skyrim, Shadow of Mordor, Civ 5, GW2)

The biggest issue I've noticed are mobo and cpu temps under heavy load ; Maxing mobo at 90°C and CPU 70°- 80°C after intensive gaming ; The CPU is a bit of a bottleneck in some mmorpgs ; Fan can be a little loud if that kind of thing bothers you

Great Computer

I have to say I am pretty impressed by the value of this deal. I am no extreme gamer, but this seems to more than meet my needs. I really like the design and casing of the computer, especially the quick hard drive slot on top. Also, if you built a...

The main con I think is the keyboard. It is OK. Now, I don't expect the keyboard to be amazing by any means, but it would be nice if it was backlit, or some keys slightly glow. Of course, this is an unreasonable request due to the great value you get...

Worth it!

If you're looking for a good gaming PC where you can STILL buy a screen and everything else you need AND stay under $1,000... you can NOT do better than this PC. I hope iBuyPower or NewEgg or whoever will continue to sell these... I have already been...

r9 270 2gb is pretty much a gamer sweet spot, I'm running at 1080p 40+FPS average and my CPU clocked down to 2.9ghz (read cons) ; ArcheAge MAX'd ; Defiance MAX'd ; Skyrim heavily modded MAX'd (with ENB) ; PlanteSide 2 MAX'd (-antialiasing) ; And on...

1. Right out of the box, the Motherboard and CPU were running hot. 80*C and higher when running a game. GOOD NOTE: I called iBuyPower's Tech Support and the guy told me it was probably a problem with the thermal paste on the CPU. I have not yet fixed...

Great Buy!

Even thought this computer doesn't have the best parts, you get a good deal for what you actually pay for. This computer is budget friendly for people on tight budgets

Heat sink isn't that good and the computer heats up pretty often

Overheats

You get what you pay for, and what you're getting here is a seemingly great computer that will die in a year at best if left with default hardware.

Fast, cheap, good gpu for the price ; Plays World of Warcraft on ultra settings at about 40 fps in major cities. Plays Team Fortress 2 on max settings without any problems. Plays Sniper Elite 2 without any issues

Started overheating the day I got it home. Haven't had it BSOD yet but monitoring the temps via various programs and the BIOS shows that the mobo and processor are running at or above the manufacturer's max suggested temp when idle. CPU is running...
