HP Z200 Workstation SFF review

Packing impressive performance in its modest dimensions, the HP Z200 Workstation SFF costs from around £840, although the model we tested will set you back around £1050. That price puts the Z200 on a par with other business-class machines we've...

With ECC memory and a compact chassis, the HP Z200 Workstation SFF offers a stable, fault-tolerant platform for getting things done. If you aren't perturbed by a case design that leaves little room for upgrades, the Z200 will repay you with ready...

HP Z200 Workstation review

Is bigger always better when it comes to business machines? We review the HP Z200 Workstation to find out.

The Intel Core i5 processor and dedicated Nvidia graphics may be overkill for many users, but the HP is a machine that offers impressive levels of power for reasonable prices. Factor in the rock-solid, easily upgradable chassis, and the Z200 could...

HP Z200

HP's Z200 Workstation SFF desktop is a compact system designed for business users. Packing impressive performance in its modest dimensions, the machine costs just over $2000 (as configured, as of June 1, 2010). That price puts the Z200 on a par with...

Excellent general performance ; Above-average connectivity for its class

Expensive components unbalance the price-to-performance ratio

HP's Z200 offers category-leading performance for business-class desktops, but its premium components will cost you.

HP Z200

The system has some internal expansion room, namely a free PCIe x1 and a free PCIe x4 slot, which is an added bonus for a SFF PC. Both slots are half-height, so you'll have to be careful with your card choices. The system's PCI card slot is filled with...

Compact. Powerful. Expandable. HP Performance Advisor. No bloatware

Only takes half-height expansion cards. No room for extra hard drives. No eSATA or USB 3.0. Expensive

The HP Z200 is a small form factor workstation desktop for the space-constrained user with a "must-do-now" workload. It's much pricier than a regular business or consumer-grade system, but as they say, you get what you pay for.

Workstation Review: HP Z200 Small Form Factor

If you've heard about vendors sending carefully optimized, hand-tweaked systems to get good benchmark scores from review sites, we can reassure you that HP did no such thing: Whoever installed our Z200's FirePro V3800 card forgot to install its driver....

HP Z200 Workstation

First Look Review: New dual-core desktop workstation offers good performance and configurability at an entry-level price.

These days if you're able to invest in new technology at all, you probably want to ensure you get the most possible for the money. So you might be very interested to hear about HP's new professional workstation, the HP Z200, which began shipping in...

HP Z200 Review

Most workstations are large boxes filled with powerful components.

Tiny ; Great build quality ; Numerous inputs

Expensive ; Limited to LP graphics cards

Better than I expected

For the price I can't see why anyone would ever need to buy a 'fruit' machine to run Photoshop at a price that is nearly 8 times more. Save the money and put it toward better glass for your camera - oh yah and get a computer that has incredible HP...

Shipping was fast unit came with larger HD than advertised which was a bonus Only 1 memory slot was populated which is perfect for adding more

I had to enter the Win 7 serial number and it was printed very small on the computer - I needed a loupe just to see it

Really bad

I bought this refurbished desktop. When it arrived CD rom was not opening. I sent it for replacement ( I should have asked for refund instead). Replacement came back with no VGA signal, so I can not see any thing on monitor. They sent me a dvi cable...
