Vista fails the compatibility test

This system is very fast, has adequate graphics and wonderful support of input devices.

Included components and new monitor worked -- no problem.

A pretty good deal for a prebuilt

For a machine that costs right around $1000 USD it's a pretty good buy. It's a great media PC with plenty of storage and the HP Media Drive option is nice (albeit a bit overpriced). The E6400 is going to hold you back on gaming in the coming years,...

She's specced nicely and is fairly affordable. The 2GB of RAM is expandable to 4GB and the machine has other upgrade options. Ships with Vista. All the components are wireless

No video card, the motherboard has one free PCI-E slot so this isn't all bad. The E6400 holds the machine back slightly (an E6600 would be preferred). Proprietary case is frustrating

WOW.

I see you guys are wanting to add 7600GS video cards? WOW, please do NOT waste your money on a 7600GS, a 7600GT is practically the same price and will perform LOADS better.

DON'T buy 7600GS's people, come on, please don't, this is a great computer, ( even though I could build a better computer for about $650 ), but still, for all of you guys who purchased this, ( like my mother in law ), don't ruin it with a 7600GS.

Great Deal!!! STABLE machine

I could not build this machine for this cost.

HP, like many manufacturers, doesn't include the Vista dvd.

Good bang for the buck

No Vista OS CD, integrated graphics are slow and do not allow full Vista experience, remote control is IR (would have preferred RF just like the keyboard/mouse), some useless extra software, wireless mouse has heavy click buttons, media drive bay is a...
