Nice Netbox

The NetBox is small, thin, has a low power processor and the case is made of plastic. It is what it is. Realize its limitations and if it fits what your looking for you'll be very happy with it. One other thing to note is that because the case is...

Very small. This is about the size of a medium thickness hardback book. I've installed it on the back of the monitor. This is excellent for use as a low power workstation, or low power file server. I use Ubuntu 10.10 Server and Samba to file share with...

The case provides no instruction for how to open it. I had to Google "Foxconn NetBox" to figure it out. Basically, once you unscrew things using a jewelers / eyeglass Phillips head screwdriver, use that same screwdriver to apply pressure to the screw...

DOA x 2

I see that another customer had the same issues. I have been building systems for 20 years, and never had two fail like these did.

Small and cheap

The day the first one came I install the memory and hard drive, plug in the power and the lights came on for 1 second, unplug power supply and plugged it in again with same result. Replace the memory and hard drive with same result ; Returned the first...

Excellent Small PC

Everything is great. Packaging. Easy set up. Everything works!! I set it up as a diskless workstation. I am using a single USB flash drive on which I've installed Puppy Linux. Very positive experience. It's small, quiet, and makes for a very secure,...

Perfect little machine

Using this as a home automation server. I added a16 gig with windows 7 and a SSD and this little guy is more than sufficient for my needs. I love that its so low heat, as its mounted in a structured wiring enclosure. Looks really good mounted with the...

small, energy efficient, low cost, vesa mounting bracket, reasonable performance if you understand what your buying. Comes with these tiny little magnets to mount it with if you choose

instructions aren't very clear on how to open the case, a little cheese ball, but I guess you cant expect too much at such a great price

Compact, looks great, runs Windows 7!

I actually missed the shipment by FIVE minutes today and drove around my entire neighbourhood looking for the Purolator truck... which I did! I didn't even know that Newegg was going to ship this so fast too! With my current aforementioned setup, I'm...

What an awesome little machine! Inserted a spare 2GB DDR2-667 SO-DIMM and a WD Scorpio Blue 160GB hard drive and it booted right up. Currently running Windows 7 and it's surprisingly quick! It's currently mounted on the back of my old Norcent LM730 17"...

Cracking" it open was slightly scary for me as the plastic is very thing, though it is meant to be like that such that it is flexible enough for opening in the first place. A guide I referenced recommended using a knife, which I did with ease... but...

Two devices DoA

NewEgg has been excellent throughout the first RMA of the device. Top notch service, its a shame the devices didn't work... Maybe a bad batch?!??

Cheap, small, low power consumption

First device was defective, replacement device was also defective. No VGA output or bios peeps on both devices. Swapped RAM, hard-drives, cleared CMOS... nothing. Last time I buy a Foxconn product if I can help it ; Lack of documentation to trouble shoot
