Consumer review (newegg.com)

No support for DUAL CHANNEL RAM and no any information about BIOS setup.

Black, small and quiet

DO NOT SUPPORT DUAL CHANNEL DDR ; I bought Viking PC3200/2 set, and now I have to or lost on restocking fee for newegg.com or sell this nice memory. But I don't want neither ; Manual for this little black guy doesn't provide any information about this...

Very well built system

Overall, great product - very quiet, compact, software and drivers all loaded perfectly fine on Win2k3 Server.

Very compact design, inside and out. Cable management is second to none; even the power adapters for the side loading HDD are 90º, which helps with the space issue

BIOS controlled programming for the fans is not very good - kept turning the fans off. Once I installed the included software though in the OS, the fan controlling was perfect. Also, make sure your primary hdd (if using IDE) is on CABLE SELECT!...

Pretty good

I built this with spare parts that I had laying around. AMD XP Athlon 2200+ (266 bus) 768 mb DDR266 RAM I am going to get Chaintech FX5500 soon. I am sure it will work just fine.

I got it refurbished and it cane with all the original accessories. It's small and looks better in real life. The quiet fan feature works wonderfully. For most of the time, the PC is really silent. Only noisy part is my DVD burner

I had trouble booting with old GEFORCE DDR 64mb card. It was one of the original cards that came with DVI output. Anyhow, it wouldn't boot when DVI is connected to the card. Anyhow, it worked just fine with FX5200 cards or any analogue monitors. Also,...

Get 2 of these!!!

I purchase this case because of the reviews and had to admit, I crossed my figers and hoped for the best. Boy was I not disappointed, and thanks to the previous buyers for the heads up! Other than a warning on the "tightness" of the space within the...

BIOSTAR IDEQ 210VB AMD Athlon XP / Athlon / Sempron / Duron AMD Socket A(462) VIA KM400A VIA UniChrome 2D/3D Barebone

Impressive build quality, sturdy, no sharp edges; a far cry from a lot of other PC's I've put together. Screaming fast with XP-3000+ & 1GB ram.

Caveat Emptor - Does not support unlocked CPUs (ie XP-M 2400+, comes up at 600mhz). Nice package, good directions, quiet fans with provided software.

First SFF

My first attempt at a SFF and this was a great way to start.Had no problems installing all the bits, very well designed inside and out.Runs really quietly thanks to smart fan system.Had to relax the memory settings to get windows to load but that was...

Booting to SATA is possible

I've built several of these Ideqs - all have been excellent. This was my first build with SATA. The documentation is virtually useless unless you need remedial instruction on how to operate a screwdriver in 8 different languages. You'll need to have...

I love this case

Pros: I love the look and the quietness of the case, included all required cables, included thermal paste and CPU shim, onboard graphics was better than expected in windows (no games attempted yet), CPU maintained good temperature range. Cons: small...

small space for lots of stuff, only 1 PCI expansion slot ; General Info: The SATA hard drive was very easy to boot from. Other reviewers of this same system have claimed problems, but if you know how to use the "oemsetup.txt" file on the driver CD...

iDeq Rocks!

I entered a review a few hours ago, but it has not shown up yet. I have a few things to add though. 1) The SATA hard drive boots just fine. You just have to use the drivers from the driver cd and load them during windows setup. 2) The fan is very...
