Asus UN42-M016M

Size and quietness

I never checked before I bought but Ubuntu will not see the wifi card, so I had to use Windows, which is exactly what I did not want to do.

Asus UN42-M016M

excellent small box, installed Centos 6.6 X64 onto it. Its a dual core Celeron so performance is fine for what I need to do (so I gave a 10 compared to bigger cpu's its maybe not a 10), installed 256KB Crucial mSata, perfect as a home web server

nope, all good

Asus UN42-M016M

This product looks awesome and replaced a media centre computer of mine for the next few years, after that I can see this becoming a custom built set top media box and getting attached to a tv.

Shame you can't fit anything other than an mSata solid state chip(drive) in this instead of a sata ssd.

Great PC for Basic Jobs

If you need a Basic PC, I use mine to play internet video on my TV, this is great. If you want something that needs some horsepoeer like gaming this would not be a good choice

Small, wireless, comes preconfigured

Limited Memory and disk space for intensive applications

very satisfied

bought for my mother-in-law to hook up with her 1080 TV for small home entertainment. this model is not a barebone system so you dont have to buy anything else and even come with a wireless keyboard and a mouse. I am gonna buy another one for myself.

very small and neat. well designed and well detailed inside&outside.

32gb ssd is not enough even if we want to use it for only surfing and watching movies. but usb3.0 flash drives are very cheap these days so bought 64gb usb drive as an external drive using

Small yet Full-Featured

Great unit and fits the job I gave it (A simple paging server for my building). Comes with bluetooth keyboard and mouse that work immediately. Aesthetically pleasing and well priced

No VGA or DVI port so setting it up for remote access only requires buying an HDMI dummy dongle or having it plugged into an HDMI monitor ; 32GB is not quite enough space to upgrade to Windows 10 without having to use external storage

Nice little system

If you are installing from, or need to use CDs or DVDs, you might want to buy a USB external CD/DVD device.

Nice little system, it's basically a complete PC without the noise you get from a regular desktop ; You NEED to buy RAM, mSata drive, and mini PCIe card (for wireless/bluetooth). The mini PCIe is optional if you don't need wireless or bluetooth, but...

None really, other than knowing you need to buy more than just this item to have a functioning system
