Asus Essentio CG1330-05 review: Asus Essentio CG1330-05

Asus Essentio CG1330-05

Sharp-looking new case design; decent gaming performance; room to upgrade.

Slower than PCs that cost just a bit more; few advantages over less expensive systems; no FireWire or eSATA ports; nonexistent online help.

The new Asus Essentio CG1330-05 has a more polished appearance than Asus' previous desktop efforts, but that's one of its only selling points. You get reasonable gaming performance for the price, but its overall value falls short compared with...

"Not a bad machine overall."

I bought one of these on eBay last year for about $330 and it is the first machine of this power and caliber that I have owned. It's fast, runs all my games very well, and doesn't freeze up much like other PCs I've had the displeasure of owning. So...

Fast, room for upgrades, easy to clean and modify internals, nice HDD size, plenty of RAM, decent graphics.

Not the best option for newer games without some upgrades, big and heavy.

"Worthless, I mailed it back 3x's and they can't fix it."

I would advise anyone to steer clear of all ASUS products. They have proven to be pure Junk and the Company seems proud of that fact.

It makes a Great paper Weight.

Will not stay powered on, keeps crashing

Cheap and Reliable

When i bought this, it was a steal, glad its still working til this day, after i made upgrades to the GPU and PSU, It can pass as a gaming computer, but with little room for anymore upgrades due to small mother board.

Was $300 off when i bought it! like woah ; Good enough CPU, with six cores, somewhat low clock speed ; Graphic card worked decently for low end games ; Tons of USB slots, all of which i use

PSU was way too low, 350 watts is not enough if you want to upgrade ; Loud ; Case not well ventilated ; HardDrive burned after 2 years, lost all my data, but its whatever, i just bought a new one, re install windows and everything still worked fine til...
