Asus impresses with its 27-inch all-in-one PC

Asus' new ET2700I all-in-one offers strong general-purpose computing wrapped around a massive 27-inch display.

The ; is unique for its 27-inch display, a fast Core i7 GPU, and a discrete Nvidia graphics chip.

Like other 27-inch Windows all-in-ones, the Asus' 1080p resolution hurts its appeal next to the higher-resolution 27-inch iMac.

The Asus ET2700INKS will meet the needs of anyone searching for a fast, large-screen all-in-one for mainstream home entertainment and general-purpose productivity.

Asus All-in-One PC ET2700INKS review

Hewlett-Packard debuted the first 27-inch Windows all-in-one earlier this year. Now Asus follows suit with its ET2700I. Like HP, Asus charges a reasonable premium for its large display, asking $1,399 for a system that might otherwise cost around $1,000...

Asus ET2700INKS-B062C

The Asus ET2700INKS-B062C all-in-one desktop is a movie-watching joy, though you'll need headphones for the true movie experience.

Large clear screen. HD video. Blu-ray. USB 3.0 and eSATA. VGA in. HDMI in.

Subwoofer and overall sound volume is weak. "Only" 1080p HD resolution. Subwoofer must be plugged into side panel. Cluttered desktop shortcuts.

Review: Asus ET2700INKS

The Asus ET2700INKS is no iMac, but the 27-inch monster of a workstation still holds its ground as a decent all-in-one PC.

Bright, sharp display. Classy chassis with edge-to-edge glass panel and front-facing silver speaker bar. Packed with every port and feature you’d want in a PC. Blu-ray combo drive and HDMI-in makes it a great home entertainment device

The included keyboard and mouse are maddening. Speakers are only so-so — if you’re using this as a TV replacement, you’ll want to upgrade the audio. Glass screen doesn’t handle glare well

Asus ET2700INKS

The Asus ET2700INKS is a massive 27-inch all-in-one desktop PC that has a Blu-ray player, entertainment features and HDMI-in. It delivers excellent performance thanks to a quad-core Intel i7 CPU, 8GB of RAM and hybrid Nvidia graphics. It's an excellent...

"LACK SHARPNESS AND BRILLIANCE OF IMAC 27 INCH"

Every fonts looked awkward or indistinct on this system. So anyone using Ms Office would be better off not using on this system.

Big is not Better equally, but if not comparing to Apple 27 inch, then Asus ET27 is good for the money.

Fonts and a lot of smaller finer icons looked slightly blurry.

Pretty good

be careful with the metal stand its a killer!

The few things that I like about this all-in-one. The sound very good even with headphones it, also it did not have a lot of installed software to remove big plus! very fast it ran all my PC games great

I brought a wall mount but I guess this another attachment that is need to make it work properly. It very heavy 50 pounds and I have a glass desk so the metal stand puts scratches on the desk. The Keyboard and mouse leave a little bit to be desired
