Asus Eee Top 1602 review

This is a 15.6in high-gloss touch-sensitive screen which doesn't render graphics as clearly as a regular panel. But once you start using the Eee Top through its screen interface, you can almost forget the reduce clarity.

This desktop PC is more like a laptop packed into a screen, yet with its touchscreen interface it is much more. This would make a good household computer for a young family, and thanks to its economical 27W power consumption, it won’t even present any...

Asus Eee Top review

Its three famous letters may have changed the laptop world, but Asus isn't just shovelling its Eee profits under the bed for safekeeping. Luckily for us, it's set its sights on revolutionising the desktop with a new all-in-one touchscreen machine. Of...

Asus Eee Top

Apple iMac too pricey by far? Then consider, sir, the Asus Eee Top. All the fun of the super-affordable Eee PC range in a desktop computer. And here's the kicker, it goes one further than the iMac with a finger-licking touchscreen!

Easy to use, responsive touchscreen, and all at a low, low price

There's no high-end spec here

The deal of the decade? Quite possibly. Asus has made an Eee netbook, stretched it out to a desktop and given it a touchscreen. Top work!

Asus ET1602 Eee Top

All-in-one computers are yesteryear's gas guzzling SUVs. Sure, they're stylish and full-featured. But they're also ridiculously extravagant for everyday tasks.

Finally, an all-in-one for the Top Ramen set. Quick and responsive touch interface. Sports 1/8-inch audio jacks for surround speakers. Compact design has integrated storage for both keyboard and stylus. Integrated 802.11n and gigabit ethernet ensure...

Underpowered for heavy web video. A wired keyboard and mouse - on an all-in-one? Heats up after extended poke and prod sessions. Anemic 160GB hard drive. Even a cheap, noisy optical drive would've been nice. No battery means no mobile computing

Review: Asus Eee Top ET1602 PC

A compact, touchscreen desktop PC best suited for basic computing tasks

Although it boasts a touchscreen and simple to use interface, the Eee Top seems to be aimed at a niche market with a fairly high price tag attached. The general idea is a good one though, and we could start seeing other slightly tweaked versions...

Asus Eee Top 1602 review

ASUS Eee Top ET1602

A simple Atom-based PC with a touch screen.

Touch screen, six USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n wireless networking

Looks a little tacky, reflective screen, keyboard and mouse are small and uncomfortable, audio jacks not located on the front or side

The touch screen–equipped Eee Top ET1602 definitely garnered a lot of attention in our test centre; but then again, most touch screens do. It's a funky little unit for basic tasks and is suitable for kids and anyone who just wants a simple PC for...
