If you don't mind a huge case with a divisive design, the Alienware Aurora R10 probably has a model that fits your gaming needs

The Alienware Aurora R10 Ryzen Edition delivers impressive performance, thanks to a 32-thread Ryzen 9 3950X and 2080 Ti. But it needs better cooling.
Attractive new design ; Ample front port selection ; Strong performance
Inadequate cooling for 3950X ; Noisy under load
The Alienware Aurora R10 Ryzen Edition sports a cool design and offers strong performance, but it runs loud and needs better cooling if you’re opting for the configuration with the 16-core CPU.

Alienware's 2021 reboot of the Aurora Ryzen Edition R10 brings AMD's very latest Ryzen 5000 power silicon to high-end gamers, though its plastic construction won't appeal to everyone.

The visually striking Alienware Aurora R10 can be configured in a variety of ways, but our Ryzen 9 3950X-equipped model is a performance monster. We just suggest ordering a more cost-effective configuration unless you're a true power user.

The Alienware Aurora R10 offers blisteringly fast performance and easy upgradability, within an attractive, unique design.
Attractive design ; Very easy to upgrade graphics ; Sleek, customizable RGB lighting ; Blistering gaming and CPU performance
Can get expensive
If you want similar performance in a more compact chassis and don't mind sacrificing upgradability, the Corsair One i160 ($3,399) is worth considering. HP's Omen Obelisk is a tad sleeker (complete with a transparent side panel) and offers similar power...

Alienware's excellent Aurora Ryzen Edition R10 is packing some of AMD's most powerful hardware in an all-Ryzen and Radeon build with very solid value.

The Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R10 (2021) has good gaming performance for the price, but its design could be better.
Good AMD components ; Reasonable price ; Solid gaming performance
Very loud ; Inconvenient design ; So-so software
, buying a pre-built machine like this may be the only way you can get the exact components that you want for a while.

We've reviewed the Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R10 range to see if this AMD-based gaming PC is worth your time and money.
Lashings of CPU and GPU ability ; Great customer service and aftercare ; A bold, robust and accessible case design
Intel-based machines marginally better for games ; Better component options available elsewhere ; Hardware is overkill for many users
The Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R10 is excellent if you need a PC for high-end games and tricky work tasks, and it has good support and customisation options. Intel-based machines are still better for games, though.

Efficient Internal layout ; Tool less access ; Modern case design ; 60fps 40K gaming ; Blistering performance
Internal hardware issues ; No-frills ; Expensive for normal users ; Not easily available ; Get little warm at times

AMD Ryzen 9 3950X processor in our unit delivers blistering performance. Ready for high-refresh 1440p and 60fps 40K gaming. Bold, modern case design. Toolless access to efficient internal layout. Huge array of configuration options when ordering.
Expensive as configured. Pricey 3950X not better for gaming than less expensive high-end chips. No-frills motherboard and internal layout. Not everyone may love the design.
The visually striking Alienware Aurora R10 can be configured in a variety of ways, but our Ryzen 9 3950X-equipped model is a performance monster. We just suggest ordering a more cost-effective configuration unless you're a true power user.
