This is a very versatile machine. I use it to vacuum pack camping supplies, first aid kits, matches, ammo to keep it dry, clothing in the large size bags. It also comes with tube type bags that you can make as long as you want to hold larger items....

Worked on 10 bags and quit

This has not soured me on New Egg but I will think twice about non computer products.

I just got this today. I got it for the bargain price of $24. This one is replacing an old one (about 25 years old) and it does a much better job than that one ever did. Like one reviewer, I thought mine was DOA. But as soon as I pushed down harder,...

Really gets all the air out and seals well. I grind my own spices and need to store the whole spices safely. This will allow me to buy bulk and save even more.

It is very loud. You have to push down very hard to start the process.
