If it has a low setting, it is too hot. You can't leave food on all day to cook, or it will just burn up. I bought one of the first Crock Pots years ago, and it worked fine. This is just not the same. I don't recommend this one at all for slow cooking.
Removeable pot
Just as the over reviewers state, the temp control is not low enough to call this a slow cooker. Slow cooking should enable food (meat and vegetables) to cook all day while you are at work and be ready when you get home. This will burn your food if you...

Didn't get it at newegg, but as a house warming gift, glad it has not burned the house down....
Its reliable, since I've had it 5 years. It works but you have to babysit it.
I have a hard time believing this thing has any temperature control, it doesn't matter what you set it on it seems to run full blast. I never leave anything unattended in it which defeats the purpose of a crock pot.

stay away
NONE- If I were Newegg- I would dump this product- fast. Its only going to cause them problems
Just like the other review, this Croc is a pile of garbage. I have had mine for a couple years and it is just junk. It cooks WAY to hot (I mean WAY). Even on "low" it boils the juices inside. I have to put it on "warm" and even then it can be too hot....

I have used many different crock pots, and this is by far the worst unit I have ever used. My mother has a 25-year-old crock pot that is still used weekly.
This unit has built in timers so you can't accidentally forget to shut it off.
It just gets too hot! On the lowest heat setting, this pot burned a chicken in about two hours.
